Inshore Slam’s Daily

Capt. Rich Knox of Absolute Florida Flats Fishing and Guide Service ran several trips to the area (Tarpon Springs, Clearwater, New Port Richey) inshore fishing flats this week,  we had great weather, good-tides and were on some hungry fish.  Snook, Red-fish, Spotted Sea Trout, were all on hand to do battle with,  on every fishing charter we ran. The backcountry fishing to the barrier island inshore fishing was hot, that’s a real good thing when the fish are spread out like this and eating so well, I saw free swimming sardines (pilchards) everywhere we fished, that obviously is the bait of choice right now.  If you want to go Snook fishing, Red-fishing, Trout fishing our fall fishing is really taken off, book now.

Nearshore fishing to deep sea fishing is also peaking for the fall migration, the Gag grouper are moving closer to shore with the water temperatures in the low 80’s, along with the fall King-fish migration,  reef fishing and wreck fishing are both producing non-stop action on some day’s Spanish Mackerel are thick, smoker King’s, Cobia and offshore spawning red-fish, and a variety of Sharks keep you busy!
