2020 has been the best cycle of tarpon seen here in 25 years. The fish are thick and have been since February. Additionally- everything else is going off the chain too. We’re catching permit to 30lbs- Goliath grouper to 350lbs- sharks to 300lbs-snook- redfish and trout.
The Charlotte Harbor Estuary is the second largest natural and undeveloped estuary in the United States. Currently the water is clear and abundant with both bait and gamefish.Our tarpon fishery is second to none. Boca Grande is the epicenter to the entire tarpon fishery in the US.
