Captain John Fischbach of Absolute Florida Flats Fishing would like to wish everyone a happy and safe holiday now let’s get back to fishing!!!!!Wintertime Flats fishing around depressions and roll offs into the ICW are producing really awesome catches with the weather pattern now in a steady roll down, a drop off in water and air temperatures and steady rise in those temperatures, with some weather in between such as wind and rain !!! You may not have heard it from other professional saltwater sport fishing guides before but I will tell you first-hand,,, when the wind changes direction it’s great. I don’t care how hard it blows or for how long, the direction change is the important thing. If a guide has the correct improper equipment you should be able to be taken to the fish. Redfish, Snook, giant trout, Pompano, permit, Whiting, jack crevalle, Bluefish, flounder, silver trout the list goes on and on. There’s also juvenile tarpon that are being jumped a few days a week during particular moon phases and tide stages. Temps– water temperature and air temps are fluctuating this puts the fish in feeding Attack Mode they don’t Ambush they swim eat swim and eat and do all their private stuff in between LOL. If you’d like to have the ABSOLUTE BEST fishing charter available for any day given. please contact me at area code 727-376-8809 or on the boat phone at 727-364-3265 visit me at www.captrichknox.com you can also call my colleague Captain Todd at area code 727-656-4001. Working West Central Florida’s Gulf Coast and Florida’s beautiful Middle and upper keys is a daunting task with traveling. To help provide life long lasting memories, I have welcomed Captain Todd for Flats trips while I’m in the Gulf Stream. I still fish flats and Backcountry upon request.
