Fish On after Storm Debby

Capt. Rich Knox,  long-time West Central Gulf Coast fishing guide of Absolute Florida Flats Fishing and Guide Service reports with the exit of tropical storm Debby inshore flats fishing will return to normal as the water quality improves, with the record breaking rain amounts,  the run-off is just about done. Our fishing charters before the blow were producing quality Snook, Red-Fish, spotted Sea Trout, Shark, and a variety of other fun fish’s’ all on light tackle spinning tackle with a number of live baits. All these species can be found around the mangroves and also the beach’s’ we are primarily using pilchards (white-bait) cast-netted up in the mornings, along with some pinfish and ballyhoo. In some places we are catching all three of the inshore slam species,  Snook, Red-fish, And Trout on the same anchor  set. One bonus from all the rain was to drop the summer water temp’s to a comfortable 80*F that these fish are very comfortable in all day. Fish On, Book Now !
