WELCOME SUMMER!!!!Fishing has been nothing less than spectacular this past month. Snookcatching, redfishing, catching reds, lots of trout to rip drag, then, the magnificent Tarpon have been willing to give the patient lunar fisherman the most perfect of opportunities, followed by a nod (bite) then bow, by the angler has fish on!!! live blue crab tarpon fishing and live mullet snook catch and release in the darkness is quite the experience. My clients have been catching all of these species on live shrimp, pilchards, jigs and flies for the past 3 months. I have been also fishing for sharks with cut bait. Tarpon have been in the mix as well with this method.
Depending on the tide, the front of our barrier islands, the sound, and even back bays have been very productive. Jacks, ladyfish, and mangrove snapper have been filling in the gaps. There are fishing charters available THAT ARE VERY AFFORDABLE, ACCORDING TO THE COST OF DOING BUSINESS!!!! YOUR LIFELONG LASTING MEMORIES ARE MY JOB TO CREATE.
